At Neeth Medappa Pattissier and Chocolatier, we take pride in our desserts and cakes. On a few occasions, we have an unsatisfied customer. If you are unhappy with your order and/or purchase, please notify us immediately (within 6 hours of receiving the cake) of your concern and return your dessert to us. We will give you credit (as per our discretion for the amount for use toward a future purchase. All refunds will be provided as in-store credit.

Design Confirmation & Policy​

● Changes: Clients must report any order form errors immediately. Changes are permitted up to 2 days before the event (fees may apply).
● Artistic Variations: Every cake is custom-made and unique. The order form serves as a design guideline; we reserve the right to make necessary adjustments to ensure structural and aesthetic quality.

Order Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change and we will gladly assist you in making changes to your order date and time whenever possible. 

1. Cancellation Notice & Fees

To cancel without penalty, please call or email us, at least 2 business days before your event. In case of late cancellations theclient will be given a store credit for actual price paid for the cake. Store credit can be used on future order/orders without any timeline.

In case of complete refund, client will be charged with 5% of the total order cost.

 In the event that you do not collect your orders by the end of the selected working day, the products will be disposed and no refund will be given.

*Note: Any other modifications or exceptions are entirely at our discretion.

2. Leftover & Special Orders

 • Highly Decorated / Special Orders: No refunds if you miss your pickup.

• The 48-Hour Rule: To guarantee freshness, any items not picked up or delivered within 48 hours of the scheduled time will be disposed of, and no refund will be issued.
• Rescheduling Delivery: If you need to push your delivery to a future date, an additional delivery fee will apply. 
 

Delivery & Pickup of Cakes

Celebration Cakes – The cakes are sent through Uber/Ola (third party) to ensure safe travel, the client will have to bear the delivery charges which need to be paid to the cab driver directly. We will notify you once the order is dispatched and share the details and tracking link.

In case of pickup – When picking up, please ensure you have a flat, level, and secure space in your vehicle—like the floor or trunk—as car seats can cause tilting. Our desserts are delicate and melt easily, so please keep your AC on and never leave items in a hot car or direct sunlight. Once your order is picked up, Neeth Medappa Patisserie is no longer responsible for damage due to improper handling or display, and any necessary repairs will incur additional fees.

Wedding Cakes –

Professional Delivery & Setup Services

• Personal Delivery: We offer personal delivery directly to your wedding venue. Because wedding cakes are delicate cargo, our trained team handles the transport to ensure it arrives in pristine condition.
• Delivery & Convenience Charges: Please note that personal venue delivery is subject to additional delivery and convenience fees. These charges will be calculated and added to your final invoice based on the venue’s distance and setup requirements.

Cake Handover & Liability

• Our Team Setup: If you choose our delivery service, a member of our team will personally handle the placement and final touches of the cake at the venue.
• Self-Pickups or Event Planner Handovers: If you, a family member, or your event planner choose to take direct handover of the cake (at our bakery or upon arrival at the venue). We kindly request that you thoroughly inspect the cake at the time of handover. Once the cake has been signed for and accepted, Neeth Medappa Patisserie is no longer responsible for any damages that may occur during subsequent handling, or setup.

Temperature & Storage Requirements

Cakes are highly sensitive to heat and humidity. To prevent melting, shifting, or structural damage, please ensure the following guidelines are met at the venue:

• Temperature Control: The cake must be stored in a refrigerator or a fully air-conditioned room until it is time for display.
• Time Limits at Room Temperature: Depending on the cake flavors and fillings, our cakes can only sit at room temperature for 45 minutes to 1 hour maximum.
• Outdoor Venues: We strongly advise against placing the cake outdoors unless it is kept in a climate-controlled tent until immediately before the cake-cutting ceremony.

Refund Policy

 We will inform you upon receiving and reviewing your refund request. Subsequently, we will notify you of the approval or denial of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed automatically through your original payment method with 2-3 business days.

Allergen Advisory, Color Matching, and Terms of Agreement

Please note that all Neeth Medappa Patisserie products are prepared in a professional kitchen setup and may contain or come into contact with allergens such as milk, eggs, wheat, and nuts. By placing an order, you agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold Neeth Medappa Patisserie harmless from any liability regarding allergic reactions. Additionally, while we make every effort to match your event palette, exact color replication cannot be guaranteed, and slight variations in food coloring shades may occur.
